Volunteer Awards Print E-mail

We have the best volunteers in the world! Volunteers are the heart of our mission, creating the foundation for all of our services. Many, many thanks to the many volunteers who contribute their time, talents, and skills to our mission.

rsvp2008.jpgOn Oct 16, 2008, Moore County Red Cross volunteers Devora Sessler and Lauretta Warshauer were honored at the annual Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) breakfast.  Volunteers age 55 and over are eligible to join RSVP, and annually, each non-profit partner of RSVP selects one person or team of volunteers who are also RSVP members who have shown true dedication to the organization they serve.

This year, the Moore County Chapter chose Dev and Lauretta, who work as a team on Tuesday mornings year-round assisting with data entry, filing, and photocopying in the Red Cross office. Previous Red Cross honorees include Carol and Bob Dillman and Jack Lynn.
